In 1951 Trinidadian pianist Russell Henderson migrated to London, where he led an ensemble that could perform as a jazz band or a steelband. Henderson had worked with many calypsonians in Trinidad. In England he performed and/or recorded with such artists as Kitchener, Invader, Terror and Lion. He has continued to give concerts up to the present.
