I had a date with a chick, and I went to Brooklyn
But I couldn't find my way back the following morning
I had money yet I had to roam
And still I couldn't get a cab to drop me back homeI met a cop and told him I'm a stranger

I got confused, I was in a heat

Some passing you empty, and yet they wouldn't stop
Some will say they have no gas, so they can't make the drop
